*** What's New: *** Added 3/20/2020:  based on recommendations from State and local health authorities and from AYSO National and Section 10, the Girls 10U-14U Pot O' Gold re-scheduled for April 18-19 has been cancelled.  Unfortunately there are no practical dates available to us for rescheduling this year's Tournament.  Teams' checks will be returned to your Region's treasurer.

Updated 3/12/2020 5:00pm:
 the Girls 10-14 tournament has been postponed due to the significant rainfall which has been falling in Thousand Oaks all this afternoon; there is no way that the soccer fields will be playable by Saturday morning.  Coaches should contact Dave Hobert at tournaments@ayso9.org to confirm that their team will be here for the rain dates of April 18-19; refer to Section 5A in the Tournament Rules.

Note: NO PETS ALLOWED! The "Facility Use Rules" do not permit ANY pets at this site.
You may want to bring your own shade as there are no shelters near any of the fields and exactly 1 tree.

Who: AYSO-registered players from the 2019 season in divisions 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U

Player Age: As of December 31, 2019 per AYSO Rules
Team Formations: 10U: 7 v 7,   12U: 9 v 9,   All others: 11 v 11
Entry Fees: 10U & 12U: $450 per team;  14U, 16U, 19U: $500 per team. (Refunded if team not accepted)
Referee Deposit (Divisions 10U-14 only): $150.  (Refunded if the minimum number of assignments are met. Referee deposits will be returned to teams completing all requirements within two (2) weeks of the tournament’s completion).

One check for both the team fee and referee fee issued by your Region is required with your application for consideration. Checks are to be made payable to AYSO Region 9 Pot O' Gold.

Refund Policy: If you withdraw your application 30 or more days from the start of the tournament, a full refund will be issued. If you withdraw after that time, we will only issue a refund if a replacement team can be found, less any cost to register that replacement team.

Application Deadlines: Team Applications will be considered upon receipt of complete information on a first-come first-served basis. Teams will be notified of acceptance status within 30 days of the tournament dates as applicable.
The deadlines to enter the tournament are:
February 8th, 2020 for Boys 10U,12U & 14U teams
February 15th , 2020 for Girls 10U, 12U & 14U teams
February 29th, 2020  for Boys & Girls 16U & 18U teams
Applications accepted by that date will be given priority for acceptance into the tournament; all others will be accepted based on any available openings.

Referees:

10U-14U teams are required to provide Team Referees who are capable of doing tournament-level 10U-14U matches.
10U-14U team referees must sign up for and complete 6 referee assignments (any combination of Center + AR + Standby assignments).

Referees for the 16U/18U weekend are by invitation only.  Please contact Chuck Huffer if you are an Advanced or National referee and would like to participate.

Referees for 10U-14U matches may schedule themselves for assignments consistent with their level of training and experience.  See the Scheduling Instructions for Referee Self-Scheduling.

Features:

All players and two coaches will receive a tournament pin.  Working referees will receive a shirt, coin and a meal ticket for the concession stand.

Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place teams in each 8-Team Pool (5-team pools will receive 1st and 2nd place only).

A Concession stand serving hot food, candy and beverages is located at Conejo Creek.

Proceeds from the Tournament will be used for Region 9 soccer field development.

Game & Referee Schedules will be available 1 week prior to the start of play.
