Team & Referee Applications

Team Application

Note:  Your application for the 2017 Pot O' Gold Tournament is not considered complete until we receive all five (5) items below.

1.  Read the Team Application Instructions!
The Team Coach and the Team's Regional Commissioner (RC) must sign, date and return page 2 of this document.

2.  Complete the on-line Tournament Application.
Include a printed copy of this Application, signed & dated by your RC.

3.  Complete your Referee Application on-line (for U10-14 teams only).
A separate Application is to be completed for each Referee
If you have not completed your on-line Tournament Application, you will not be able to select your Team for a Team Referee.
Include a printed copy of this Referee Application, signed & dated by your Regional/Area Referee Administrator, for each Referee.
Youth Referees are required to complete the Tournament Youth Referee Letter.  The Letter must be signed and dated by the Regional Referee Administrator, and must be in the Youth Referee's possession at all times.  The Youth Referee must also have a Youth Volunteer form, signed & dated by a parent or guardian, in his or her possession at all times.
For U16 & U19 teams, if you have National or Advanced Referees in your Region who would like to officiate these upper-level games, have them contact Chuck Huffer directly.

4.  Submit a single check drawn on your Region's account for the Tournament Fee + Referee Deposit.

5.  Submit an eAYSO-generated Team Roster. You can get this from your Regional Commissioner (RC) or Registrar. The Roster must be signed by your RC!
Proof of coach certification and training will be verified by the coach and assistant coach attaching their training record from eAYSO to the roster.

Referee Application

1.  Complete your Referee Application on-line.
Include a printed copy of this Referee Application, signed & dated by your Regional/Area Referee Administrator, for each Referee.

2.  Youth Referees are required to complete the Tournament Youth Referee Letter.
The Letter must be signed and dated by the Regional Referee Administrator, and must be in the Youth Referee's possession at all times.
The Youth Referee must also have a Youth Volunteer form, signed & dated by a parent or guardian, in his or her possession at all times.

Referee Scheduling and Information

Referee scheduling will be available by mid-February

1.  Before arriving at the Tournament, be sure to read the Referee Game-Day Instructions.

2.  View the Searchable Referee Schedule.

3.  Referees may schedule themselves for assignments during the U10-U14 Boys & Girls weekends:
     a.  Read the Referee Self-Scheduling Instructions. (There is a link to the scheduling program within them)
     b.  Or, if you have already read the instructions, you can schedule yourself for Girls U10-14 or Boys U10-14 Referee Assignments directly as long as you already have a Username & Password.

4.  Review the Pot O' Gold Referee Plan.

5.  For U16/U19 only: Contact the Tournament Referee Administrator to be scheduled for a U16 or U19 match Saturday March 25th and/or Sunday March 26th, 2017.
Be sure to include the days (Sat, Sun) and times (morning, afternoon) you are available, and the highest-level match your are comfortable with.
If you want to be scheduled for a match for an informal or formal assessment, please note that as well.  All National Referee assessments must follow procedures established by your Area and Section Directors of Assessment; the Pot O' Gold is only responsible for scheduling the matches, NOT the assessors.
