Region 9 VIP Program

The AYSO Very Important Players (VIP) Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. Click the VIP logo to see more information from the National AYSO site or contact our VIP Director at for more information about our local program - one of the 1st and most active such programs in the country.

AYSO Volunteer Training & Safe Haven

All AYSO Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Referees and Board Members are required to complete job-specific training.  Common to all of AYSO's Volunteer Training is a course called AYSO Safe Haven.  Region 9 strongly encourages Team Managers to also complete the Safe Haven course.  It's free, and it's available online at AYSO Training.  It will only take about an hour of your time, whenever it is convenient for you.  All you need is your AYSO Volunteer ID# (go to if you have forgotten the number or if you need to register as an AYSO Volunteer).
