AYSO PRACTICE LOTTERY - 2013
Thursday August 8th
The Region 9 Practice
Lottery will be held Thursday August 8th at the Conejo Creek
South soccer fields, in the new Snack Shack/Meeting Room.
Times – See Grids Below For Specific Team Times (updated
8/7/2013)(due to 2 additional teams in U10 Boys)
Starts at
5:30 – U7-U19 Coaches with more than one team.
Starts at 5:45 – U7/U8 Teams
Starts at 6:00 – U10 – U19 Teams
This will be the only chance for Team Coaches (or
their designee, if he or she is unable to attend) to choose their practice times
for the upcoming fall season. If you can’t make it find someone from your team
to go. If you still can’t make it, check the Region 9 website after the
lottery.
A
master list of practice times and locations will be posted. Choose an open
slot and email your top two requests to
practicelottery@ayso9.org.. Requests will be
honored on a first come first served basis and based on availability.
Please keep the following in mind:

Show up on time. If you show up late, you will be the last in your group to
choose a day and time.

Patience is a virtue: you may be among the 1st 5 coaches in your
group to choose, or you may be among the last 5.

Flexibility and
adaptability are also virtues:
with more than 200 teams, not everyone can practice Tuesday & Thursday at
6:30pm.

Practice Days: are Monday through Friday. Practice times
are on the 1/2 hour, 4:30pm to 7:30pm . U7 & U8 teams will have 1 practice per week; U10 - U19 teams will have 2 practices per week.

Practice
Fields map so that you know where you and your Players will be when
practices get started.
It will speed up the process if you:

Know your assigned
Team Number (e.g.
U07B03 or U10B19).
-
If you are not the Team Coach, know his or her
name ("Coach Bob" won't be enough).

Check to make sure that the Team Coach has
been registered as an AYSO Volunteer for the 2013 season and that his or her
Volunteer Application has been processed by our CVPA staff.

If you missed the August 8th Practice Lottery, please look at the
official practice grid for available slots. E-mail your TOP 3 desired slots
(day, time, field #) to Kerry Kallman
at
practicelottery@ayso9.org. Based on date and time that your email is
received, I will begin filling the rest of you in.

The column heading (5:30pm,
5:45pm,
etc.) represents the time that your group of teams will be
drawing for a practice day and time.
The order of drawing within that
group is represented by the numbers 1-24 in the far-left column.
